There’s an old sea story about a ship’s Captain who inspected his sailors, and afterward told the first mate that his men smelled bad..
The Captain suggested perhaps it would help if the sailors Would change underwear occasionally. The first mate responded, “Aye, aye sir, I’ll see to it immediately!”
The first mate went straight to the sailors berth deck and announced, “The Captain thinks you guys smell bad and wants you to change your underwear.” He continued, “Pittman, you change with Jones, McCarthy, you change with Witkowski, and Brown, you change with Schultz.”
THE MORAL OF THE STORY: Someone may come along and promise “Change”, But don’t count on things smelling any better.
Wow this is super entertaining, this Obedient Wives Club lady is convicted to the madness! The scary thing is she sounds so sane… Dont succumb to the madness – just roll with the laughs and buy a t-shirt.
When will the craziness end!
Every time Dr Azila opens her mouth I laugh (and get somewhat worried), I wonder how her views came to be, where did she pick up this very extreme perspective about women and men? Perhaps as a kid she read too much into the teachings that I tuned out to in kelas agama, or maybe hanging out with people with the same view kinda strengthens your resolve to go on radio and say crazy stuff, i dunno.
This just flashed through my mind for some reason : give her a shotgun and we have our very own Sarah Palin here is KL. If I spend some time listening to this podcast – id probably find at least 10 quotable quotes that would make the wackiest t-shirts you have ever seen.
But on point for a second, and pardon the frankness. If the problem at hand is a husband that strays, shouldn’t the solution be helping people set the right expectation as to what the hell you 2 numbskulls are getting into before you freaking get married. Make it really difficult to get married – love and good feelings aint all you need, trust me although im not married I can unequivocally attest to love not being all you need to make a marriage work
If by some miracle the 2 pass the test, and the husband thinks he is going to stray. Shouldn’t the solution then to get him to join the Obedient Husbands Club? Any ladies reading this think that The OWC makes sense?
